Pete Furman’s professional path has always been rooted in discipline, protection, and purpose. His journey began with a passion for motorcycles, racing competitively as a young man before shifting gears into the world of martial arts. Earning his black belt, Pete went on to become an instructor, where he shared his dedication to focus, strength, and self-awareness.

This foundation led him into the high-stakes field of personal security. As a bodyguard and private protection specialist, Pete safeguarded clients with the same integrity and vigilance he demanded of himself. That experience evolved into a 14-year career as a Corporate Security Analyst, where he specialized in risk assessment and executive protection at the organizational level.

But the call of two wheels never left him. Pete returned to his roots, stepping into the motorcycle industry as a department head at a major Bay Area dealership. There, he reconnected with his community and rediscovered the freedom and purpose that first ignited his career.

Everything changed after assisting with a heartbreaking case: a young man, injured on the job and rendered quadriplegic, had his court settlement stolen by his own parents. What should have secured his care and future was instead squandered. In the search for justice and protection, Pete discovered the world of Professional Fiduciaries—and the overwhelming shortage of trustworthy, capable professionals in the field.

Driven by that experience, Pete founded Caring Fiduciary, a firm built on advocacy, transparency, and compassion. His mission is simple: to protect those who cannot protect themselves—and to do so with the same strength, discipline, and integrity that have defined his life.

Pete holds a B.A. in Business Management from San Jose State University, along with Associate degrees in Science & Math, Social Behavioral Sciences and Economics.
